Timescales of Implementation[edit]

According to the government website stakeholder dialogue is expected to continue until Spring 2020, however due to the COVID-19 pandemic these have been replaced by written submissions.

The government has shared a document containing ints interpretation of the directive on Articles 3 to 12 and proposed a deadline (20 March 2020) for making proposals.

Governmental Documentation[edit]

31/5/2019: The government announced its intention to set up stakeholder dialogue on the implementation of the Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market Directive, commencing on June 18, 2020.

31/5/2019: Over 80 organisations are invited to participate in stakeholder dialogue.

17/02/2020: The Swedish government issues a public consultation on Articles 3-12.The deadline for responses is 20/3/2020.
